Life often presents us with difficulties and challenges. This I believe is part of life’s rich tapestry and learning. It is how we learn to manage a problem that makes the difference. When we can begin to be aware of our thoughts, feelings and sensations, we can offer ourselves the opportunity to be free, from our reactive, habitual patterns of relating and responding. Practising mindfulness meditation offers us an opportunity to stop, relax, and be present with our experience, offering the possibility of showing up for life in the present moment.
Courses on Mindfulness meditation
I offer a number of courses, which explore mindfulness and meditation, for groups and individuals.
• Mindfulness and awareness practice for Individuals/ groups
• Mindfulness-based stress reduction (8 week course)
• Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (8 week course)
• Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) is a psychological therapy, which was developed to help people who suffer with depression.
